Swing changes

Since october last year I been implementing a swing change.
Without having any time and range to work on this has been delayed to spring.
As far I had 3 range sessions, the last one was cut short due to overdoing the second session and pain in my arm simply made practice impossible.

Top swing changes

Happy with the top position.
The new take away works wonders.
Next is the down swing as I need range and balls as I am currently over swinging and rotating to much and the feedback and reference to a ball is what is next.

Highly excited for the spring and summer to arrive.
we had 5or so inches of snow this weekend seriously...

Now Hans looks good.
still friggin winter here, and I am waiting for the ranges to open which is like 7 weeks to go here.

4% disperson pattern

Coaching Hans Andersson and he has arrived at a 4% dispersion pattern with my new instruction set for the golf swing.
He is also longer than last year and way more accurate.
Looks like he will have a superb season.
My Mike Austin modeling is paying off.

For myself still winter here, and the Indoor session was canceled due to snow storm.
its friggin march.....
still 2 months away from open ranges but spring is coming.

The home work I done as far shows promise but hitting balls is where it Counts to find the impact and flight. Coaching the new isntructions et has shown it works so well that anyone who wants a simple and powerful golf swing can learn it.

I guess 300 yards and 4% dispersion pattern is pretty much unbeatable.

Season ended

Its not been good as I been too tired to practice and play once a week or less isnt going to make progress in the timeframe I wanted. Accept and move on.

Technique has improved and I am finnally arrived at a point where I am able to flush it on demand, typically it did happen at the last dying monents of summer and in 7celsius and rainy conditions and wet turf, still managed to win the prize on the 9 hole long driving on fairway beating the local members which I am sure was a suprise for many. It felt good.

I defined a lot of things in the golf motion, to the extent I am able to identify and adjust the golf swing for people and coaching Hans he finnaly after all his back issues caved in and changed the swing in 3 weeks. He was suprised with that how easy it was and how he also hit it longer and more straight. All his back problems the last 4 seasons are now gone.

I improved putting again this year and am able to consistently make putts and had several rounds under 30 putts in a row. Chipping improved also and pitching.

Finding out to make impact allowed me to realize a lot of things I been doing for the first time the way I as an happy amateur just enjoyed the game and when trying to find my potential in the field that the sickness just is a huge brake on progress. It took 3 years, but now I am able to define what to do to get to impact and to make power.

I still managed to reach almost all par 5 here in the season with two shots one of those outcomes I wanted, the last 480yard par 5 I was 5 yards short, passed the greenbunker and it had been on green also but had a little to much draw on it, still chipped in for eagle so some considilation there.

Going to q school was out of the question one reason is that one day of playing just makes me unable to play the second day. That sucks. Medically trying to find a solution is the hope I have for the winter but not that high. Struggling with working out the swing mechanics and trying to play golf with the time I had just wasnt doable.

Next year I be adjusting some set up, I found how to make impact, tweaking and refining that will be done during the spring and then time be spent hitting wedges and longer irons for distance control and measurement. Technically I am happy with the progress and even if it does not look textbook it be working for me based upon the Mike Austin principles.

Health is an issue, range works to some extent ok but playing simply put so much strain on my body and brain so one day and to recover is 4 days simply dont make it easy to get there.
Hopefully I get something working for upcoming season.
